Lolo Jones, who took home the USA as well as the World Champion in the event of a hurdle in 2013, only been able to achieve this level by putting in a lot of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones was also part of the second team to win the 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of both hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles events during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones is training since 2005, when she completed her studies. She won each of her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events during the same season.

Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South African. She immigrated to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Lesley Ann Brandt was born 2nd December in Cape Town in South Africa. She is a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to Auckland, New Zealand in 1999. The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt started as an employee in the retail sector, and later was upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Lesley began modeling, and then began to appear in commercials. She completed her acting major in 2008 and continued to research Meisner's techniques. The first time she was seen on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up in The New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street as a guest support role. Later she appeared in a Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana.
